Hi
My IVA was approved on the 27th december 2007 so my 1st review is due on the 27th decemeber this year. I have reviewed all the paperwork this morning, it seems a little early ????? is it ???
The other thing is when my IVA was approved my husband was working nights and of course received a premium for it. But now he is back on day shifts (6-2 & 2-10) so obviously his pay will go down. His company have aggreed to pay him nights rate until the 29th December and them his 1st wage in january will go down according to the shifts he works. I obviously need this to be taken into account at our review but I dont know what his new wage will be until January, we think it will go down approx 35.00 per week. What should I do about the review ??????
Also things like Council Tax, Water rates etc.. all the new bills are due our early in the new year, what should I do about my review and the possible increases that are going to come ?? can I guestimate ????
Look forward to hearing you comments
Thanks a million

Hi
Your IP has two months to complete the review, there will be no harm in waiting until you get the correct figure regarding your husbands wages
Regards
The IP has two months from the date due, so in your case up to 27th February so you have plenty of time to get the correct figures together. If i were you though i'd give them a ring to let them know your present circumstances with regard to the income changes, by telephone - just explain why you would like to hold off till new pay slips have been received. The IP will be more than happy to oblige (or should be)
Thanks I will ring them this week to explain what is going on, and see if they will wait till the first wage slip in January so I can send them that. Also my husband is due his payrise in January too so there is so much chance with his wage going on !!
Thank you again
What happens with things like water, car insurance, rates all new bills are due early in the new year. What should I do on my new I&E put what I pay now and try and guesstimeate ??
sorry for all the questions again ??
I can tell you with DFD that if you don't contact them then they will probably forget you are due for review till two months later. They are an IVA factory and are Overloaded. They need reminding and then will do the review. You could have waited till Jan 09 to contact them and then wait for Feb 09 for a result. They aren't the Vatman and so don't worry about the tine scales.
With deflation going down like a ton of bricks, cut in vat,and personal tax allowance increase(all revealled on Monday) people might want to get the review sorted to keep that extra O/T incomes.....things are getting cheaper....but for the wrong reasons.
Hi
I have phoned DFD today, and I must say "What lovely people they all where" !!! I was really really nervous about making the call too but no need to be.
They advised me just to wait to towards the end of January and themn send all the correct information in, no proplems what so ever, brilliant !!!
Regards

Glad you've got that sorted caraf. At least you can stop worrying now and get your paperwork together.
Nice to see that the 'IVA factories' can be relied on to be helpful.
