We are now 7 months into our IVA with Clearstart. Everything going very well at the moment.
We have both had little pay rises, mine 41.00 per month and hubbys 30.00 per month. But this is eaten up with increasing costs.
Is anyone with Clearstart, how are they at review time ? what do they ask for ?
Do you think they will ask for an increase in payments ?
53 down 7 to go !!
Cant wait till December 2012

i wouldn`t think so with the rising costs of everything come your review you may even need to ask for reduced payments[B)]!!!! there is no harm in keeping some reciepts for various things like petrol reciepts for a month to back up the difference.and if they are at review time looking to increase your payments why dont you insure your iva payments then if made redundant (god forbid)you are covered this will then be added to your i+e as it benefits both partys.

Blimey Caraf

Can't believe that 7 months have flown by since you started your IVA. It only seems like a month or so ago when you were agonising over whether it would be approved or not. Doesn't time fly? How are you finding it so far?

Wow caraf, time has flown....

I remember your iva well as it was very soon after mine, I am so pleased it has all gone well for you so far after all the worry and stress you went through.

I am just about to make payment number 9 and i can't believe how fast the time has gone, best decision I made also[:)]

Hope all continues to go well for you

HI caraf

Yes I am managing to budget quite well, though it is getting harder with increasing food prices. I think its a lot easier when you have no children as I only have to budget myself.
Life is great since the iva was approved, I worried if I was making the right decision at the time but now I know I did make the best decision ever rather than try to struggle on.

I hope you and your family are coping well also and I am sure when it comes to your review that the rising costs of everything will be taken into account.

Lets hope the rest of the iva passes as quick for both of us[:)]

Hi Caraf, Im 8 payments in with clearstart. My review in October. Accordig to my report I need my p60 and the payslips for the three months prior to the review.
I have the 50% uplift in o/time and pay increase, after increased expenditure, but this will be due the month after my review, so that seems quite fair really.

Hi caraf, I remember your IVA well too, I'm making payment 6 this month! How time does fly? I was actually thinking of you Emma the other day, as I hadn't seen you posting?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi Lesley

Thanks for thinking of me[:)]

I have not been posting as much as been so busy at work. I have a new boss and have taken on lots of extra responsibility and work trying to prove myself and work towards a promotion.
I have been reading in the background so still around[:)]

Glad things are well for you also

Hi Caraf,

Have been through two reviews with CS and to be honest you've nothing to worry about. They send you a copy of last years i&e and a blank one to update to current income/costs. On both occassions I've inflated costs appropriately to reflect increased prices and those changes have been accepted without question. On both occasions payments were raised, but not by as much as I'd expected and after each review I've effectively been better off than before it due to rising income.

Like the others I remember your initial IVA approval, doesn't seem too long ago, don't the months fly by!!!

Best wishes and good luck with the review - remember to update your i&e to reflect actual current expenditure, the worlds getting more expensive.

Martin

How come your payments went up did you have an increase in income ? what reason did they give.

We have both had inflation payrises £70.00 per month between us, but this extra is eaten up in the extra costs on food and fuel. Do you think this will be taken off us at review ?
Also when our I&E was done by Clearstart they over did the gas and electric expense which gave us an extra 50.00 per month, but obviously this has now been eaten up and more !! should I mension this at review.
What backup information did they ask for ?
cheers
