Well I've just made my 5th payment in my IVA and I must admit to a certain feeling of pride. Its been quite a few years since I had money left at the end of the month even though its only £65. Had it not been for my car and washing machine it would have been nearer £250 [:)]. The thing is I DO have a little left over where before I was scrimping and scratching around to find money to pay petrol and electricity, hoping I could put off paying the Water Rate for another week, going on line and moving Telephone payments forward by a couple of weeks. All immediate solutions to an ongoing problem that don't work. For me this IVA works. Everyone gets paid as and when required; the phone no longer screams at me; I don't have to wade through a mountain of mail every morning. The most taxing thing I have at the moment is psyching my self up for my monthly blood tests and finding a 'suitable' jokette for the forum every day. I can now see the glimmer that Kallis can see, and its getting brighter every day.

Here I am doing and saying the same things I did back then and now I'm labelled senile

Glad your feeling so positive ray[:D]It is a huge relief to know where you are with money.Im only 2 payments in,& although things can get a little tight, its still far better than juggling one credit card balance to another etc..&,the postman has well & truly been made redundant at our house!! i haven't had any mail for ages..& im saving a fortune on stamps,as i used to pay all my creditors by cheque each mnth,it used to take me ages to write out all the cheques & payment slips!![:(!]But not anymore![:D] x
please visit my blog http://tori.blogs.iva.co.uk/ a second chance..

Hi Ray [:D]

Nice to see you feeling so positive, must be a great feeling to know where you are with your finances. I'm still wading through the mail and getting the pleasant calls ( Not) and look forward to the future when this is all behind me as well[:)]

You've really started something with the Jokettes Ray, we now expect them when we log on[:D] and if there isn't one, I wonder where you are[:D]
