I completely understand. You going BR at that address wouldn't have any effect on your landlord, but I know that a lot of people don't understand that.
The ironic thing is that people who are in an IVA or are BR are probably less of a risk than those with debts as their rent / mortgage is budgeted for!
I know a few people like that! I've told a lot of people about my BR but there are some who would think their credit rating would be shot by just talking to me!
I'll keep my fingers crossed that you find something soon x
Trouble is skippy people think you should be ashamed for getting into this situation but I can hold my head up and say getting made redundant twice in 12 months has played a good part.
People who react like that may end up in this situation themselves one day...it can happen to anyone of us
You can apply to a suitable charity or trust fund for help. They are not potentially available to all who apply and are subject to funds being available even for those who fit the criteria for assistance.
Pros
Cons
• It relieves stress and anxiety where you are in an exceptionally difficult situation.
• A charitable payment may pay off a particularly urgent or pressing debt
• You will normally have to fill in a detailed application form or find an advice agency to apply for you.
• Charities are only likely to assist with an emergency or priority debt, not the whole problem (assuming you have more than one debt).
• You must fit the charity criteria to apply in the first place.
• Most charities are unlikely to be able to help with large credit debts.
Having said all that I am trying to find out names of respective charities. You may be able to get details from your Citizens Advice Bureau in the area you live. If I have any luck in tracking down any i will post it here.
Good luck and don't give up.

Hi
Here is some information on charitable trusts who may give grants for bankruptcy fees and other financial help which we hope will be of some assistance (You will usually need the assistance of an experienced money adviser to apply).
