We had a female clamper who lived near me - she intimidated and bullied everyone, and was even, at one point, in the process of removing a vehicle with a baby still in it because the woman either couldn't or wouldn't pay (I forget which!). She was thoroughly unpleasant and so were her henchmen.

She is now in prison, and I hope her and her like rot in hell!

Just giving you 2 options of paying £1000+ now or surrendering the car, any sane person would not consider these voluntary actions would they, sounds more of a threat and use of force to me to get what he wanted.

Glad you went with the third unmentioned option which would be to tell him to p*** o** may be not so bluntly though.
