Can I just point out that Nationwide are no longer offering accounts to people who are bankrupt, so I don't know if they will accept people in IVAs. They are not planning on closing any existing accounts though.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

We have a Nationwide joint account but we don't want to rock the boat until our IVA's are finally closed!

Will look to them once we have IVA closure!

Thanks everyone,
It seems that its ok to have a couple of accounts so once my Halifax one is up and running, I will start looking around.

Thanks Again

Nationwide BS is pulling their weight while the BIG five banks are not. With more IVA and BR coming up..you bet that's coming to a theater near you.

The banks are abusing the Banking code, offering Bank Accounts with no interest....don't they invest the money as with their normal current account funds

Sadly it looks as though Nationwide is going the same way as the other banks now they are no longer offering basic bank accounts if you are bankrupt.

I actually think the Co-op is a much better account as you get a debit card as opposed to a cash card.
