Soo .. All creditor statements . Payslips , relevant documents bank statements etc printed and ready to post tomorrow's! Had a very therapeutic session with a big pair of scissors and numerous credit cards today !!!!! My purse feels very strange !!!!! Started pre IVA budget ! My bank balance has never looked so good tbh !! Please please let this all go through ...

thanks foggy ! JuT popped it all in the post so a waiting game now !! They haven't asked for my partners payslips though ? Do you think they will or how else will they know total income or will they just take my word for it ? I have asked him but he's a bit hopeless tbh ;)

I am not sure how StepChange treat partners income -- the other "charity" firm, Payplan, work on household income ( which I think is unfair, as it means the solvent partner is paying towards the debt), StepChange might do it the same way as most : they work repayment based on the debtors income only and merely use the partners income level to calculate the fair share of household expenses.

They used joint income as mine alone would end in a deficit ie negative disposable income ! But they split the joint disposable income 47/53 to work out approx payment which seems fair enough as I wasn't expecting that ! Just worried it is less than £90 ! I said it would ok to propose more from his split but they said it would be a problem as they wouldn't propose something that wasn't achievable! .... Still worried though !
