cancel them. You will incur bank charges if they are refused so better to do it asap.

Another thing, you will need to open another bank account if any of your creditors are the same as your bank. It would probably be better to open a new one anyhow as you have the overdraft. Make sure the new account is with a bank not related to any of your creditors as they can still take payments from the account.

halifax--first direct
lloyds--lloyds
i'm not sure about next, it should say on your statement or terms and conditions, have a feeling it may be RBS....
The account we have is cashminder with the co-op. It's ideal for people like us

sorry halifax is not first direct, not sure who they linked with. first direct and hsbc are the same, and looking around the next site it looks like your next card could be with them...sort code starting with 40.
Not sure about natwest, I'll try and find out. be back soon

what you need to do is check for sure your next card but to be on the safe side i would go with co-op. You will find that lots of other banks will not allow you to have an account with them if you are in an IVA or bankrupt. It saves having to change banks again...

You can apply over the phone with the co-op and make deposits and withdraw free from post offices. I can understand you wanting a bank close to you though, xx
