School Dinners

Can anyone advise what acceplable level is for school dinners , my advisor stated that £20 per month for my 2 was
maximum allowed. £ 20 a week is more realistic , maybe i was a bit naive as i only found this site day before my creditor meeting,the more i read on here the more i am convinced that i was badly advised

an IVA must be based on the figures you actually spend my 6 year old son's school dinners are £10 a week and that is what I put down.

We get the full actual cost of school dinners for our son £15 per week.J

The allowence I was given was £40.00 per month,
and no allowence for school bus, together they cost £3.00 a day

I phoned my ip after my meeting as i hadnt included school dinners for 3 children but was told to put them on packed lunches. i will be putting this in my yearly review though, hopefully i might get somewhere then.

When i questioned mine more than once i was told these were maximums and they would allocate elsewhere dont know where though,i think i got the wrong end of the stick somewhere

that is really bad CJ, I actually used to make my son packed lunches but they worked out far more expensive than school dinners.. .and most of it i threw away because he wouldnt eat it...

Deeppockets you cant get 2 kids school dinners for £20 a month,never mind work meals too,and as for making packed lunches CJ,these can often be just as expensive.

They are guidelines and a good IP will argue the case for higher allowances, if needed

that is absolutely ridiculous have they maybe put the extra under another heading so you are covered.. i.e hobbies or upped your shopping budget ?
