YUK!! Cheese in a can,

Back on topic, I think the scotch egg suggestion sounds lovely, I love eggs and salad cream together I am a product of 60's / 70's though as I have to have mustard and cress in my egg sarnies, never tried it with a scotch egg.

I wouldn't have that combination by choice but if offered I suppose I'd accept out of politeness, afer all it's not poisonous.

You're better the me Andy, if I don't like something I won't eat it, regardless of being polite!

The only reason I'm worried about Cadbury moving to Poland is that they might change the recipe of the chocolate!

Skippy,
I am more interested where they are going to get workers from in Poland as I thought all the Polish are over here working.

They are far more likely to be working abroad.

Pandy, haven't you heard, now that they've bled us dry they're going back home.

[:D]Pandy!

True Jan, it's worrying that they might change the recipe and ruin Wispas!

I have to say my favourite chocolate is Green and Blacks - the butterscotch one is gorgeous!

I don't do chocolate now, but I would always be loyal to the UK when big takeovers are concerned.

I doubt if I make a difference but it makes me feel better if I boycott the products.

You're all so loyal, me I'll eat it if I like it and never care where it's made or whom by.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I'm very loyal when it comes to home growm food. The butcher we use is so local that he slaughters on the premises!

I'll always go for home grown or home reared food if I can.

Oh don't Jan, that's a horrible thought! I'm actually going off meat, although I still eat fish.

I've thrown a spanner in the works for dinner at my mums on Boxing Day - for as long as I can remember (and probably before that!) we've had lamb, but I've told her I want something else this year! My name is probably mud at the moment!

We don't see the animals that are slaughtered, but I have to say that it doesn't come any fresher! I don't think I will ever go off meat.

Never had lamb at Christmas. It is usually a half turkey crown, but this year it will be chicken for a change and gammon on Boxing Day.

We have chicken or turkey on Christmas Day and my mum always does roast lamb on Boxing Day. After reading that most of the lamb sold in this country is now halal I won't be eating it!
