What's the next step? Do I take the company car first and then the variation or the other way round?
Would the extension of the term be applied straight away or only if I fail to make the original dividend?

Thanks for the advice.

Melanie, I've already paid an extra £4000 or so into the IVA due to a successful PPI claim, would this not count towards any shortfall thus minimising the necessity to extend the IVA?
With future pay rises etc. I'm sure I'll be able to meet my original dividend.

Hi, I've been in my IVA now for about 16 months. When it was agreed a part of my income was made up of a cash for cars allowance (£5750 p.a. less tax & N.I. - approx £335 take hme per month). However my IVA only allowed for £204 per month for running the car. Currently my cash for cars allowance is ...

If I was given a company car and subsequently sold my own car, what would happen to the proceeds of the sale?

Good news, we get to keep it all until the annual review. No doubt increased council tax and water rates will take a good chunk of it!!

I had to change my mortgage to paying the interest only - thus freeing up some money to pay an IVA.

Sorry didn't explain myself very well.

The monthly payment into my secured loan will be £70 less (no PPI to pay).
Will I have to pay this £70 per month into my IVA now or after my annual review.

We've been in our IVA for about 6 months and have now had a successful claim for PPI, resulting in a reasonable sized cheque - which I know will have to be paid straight into our IVA as a windfall. However our monthly payment will now be around £70 less. Do I have to pay this into our IVA straight a...

The old account can't have been closed yet as we only noticed the error when we got the statement.
I don't want people at work knowing I'm in an IVA, so don't want to make a big deal about it (I'll just make sure it's right next time!)

We've been in an IVA for about 3 months now (Thanks Melanie) without any major issues (yet!), anyway I did a few miles in my car for work and as always claimed back the expences. Unfortunately somebody in our accounts department paid the expenses into my old account (which, due to the overdraft form...
