MBNA were the worst of my creditors and that was nearly 4 years ago. They used to phone me every single night (luckily for me only about 2-4 weeks of it). I think that when I looked there were defaults registered after my IVA approval date. Is it worth doing something about them now or do i need to wait until my IVA is completed which is October next year? I have to have SC clearance for my job. My current SC clearance expires in 2012 (10 year cycle) ...

Thanks for all your replies but panick over....just gone on line with Tesco to try my luck...and it was good luck...accepted monthly payments...deposit of £45 paid...docs in post...email confirmation...and much cheaper than zurich...got top notch breakdown and hire car added on because it was so muc...

I have been with zurich for a for years now.....via a broker.....but...the broker has changed from equity to swinton...but the direct debit has always been in zurichs name. today i got home and have a pile of info from swinton with a zurich quote (expires 30th Nov) and an alternate quote with AXA......

Can anyone recommend a company that will allow me to pay direct debit each month? As anyone got approved for this as a new customer...just don't want to try tesco say for instance and get turned down.

Hi everyone, Just to let you know everything is fine...just got back from work..message on the phone from insurer...extra £10 until end Nov when my current insurance expires anyway then they will redo my policy....cover note in the 1st class post...phew! Sorry I think you may have mis understood what I have said..I should have worded it better...I mean that they have never asked me for any of the money when they did the review either so it was in line with what they told me on the phone.
