I suppose at the last I&E review I wasn't generous enough with my monthly figures for petrol, food etc. Every month my salary fluctuates so I have to ring the IP and make extra payments. I do believe that once a figure is agreed by the IP / Creditors then this payment should be fixed, like a loan an...

Hi All, my 5 year fixed mortgage ends this month and I go on an SVR based on the bank on england base rate which means my payments will decrease by £50. Should I tell my IP?? I already feel I pay too much in my IVA - £450 and this would help a lot. If I told them in my annual review next summer woul...

I'm really worried. I have been in an IVA since June 2009. My 5 year fixed mortgage deal ends in December. Northern Rock have told me that I will have to go on a SVR mortgage based on the bank on england base rate. I think that, at the moment, my payments will decrease by £50 each month but I'm worr...

WORRIED!!! I have to give my payslips every 3 months and my IP has just said I have to pay an extra £110! There is no way I can afford this and on the letter it says I have to pay in 14 days. I have to call them later. Also, my 5 year fixed mortgage deal ends in December and I have to go on standard...

I'm so worried now!!! my documents don't state it has to be disclosed within 14 days so I'm hoping I'll be ok. When I rang my IP in Jan I'm sure they said it would be better to pay half straight away or it could be sorted at a later stage.

They are asking for Jan - March's payslips so they will notice the bonud payment then. I should have paid 50% straightaway. It's my fault.

I am a bit worried as I had a bonus in Jan £1000 and intended to keep 50% as payment to creditors but I ended up spending it. I have my annual review next week and am worried when the subject comes up. How will I be able to pay it? It was about £800 after tax so I will owe £400 I think. I am soooooo...

Hi All! A bit of advice. My IVA was approved 4 months and all is going well apart from the budgeting! Is it possible for me to apply for a company AMEX corporate card? I go to Europe a lot with work and it would help me out enormously. I wish now I'd have applied years ago for one but never bothered...

Thanks Kallis!! Did Payplan contact you regarding the quarterly review? I am 4 months into my IVA and they haven't contacted me! Also when they say they aren't interested until the annual review does this mean that you could be liable to pay back monies to your creditors back from when the payrise s...

I'm with Payplan so does anyone know what they expect? I've not heard from them once since my IVA was approved in July. Is this normal. Also, if you don't have to declare a savings account, what is stopping a person getting a windfall, putting into a savings account and not declaring this to the IP?

Hi All, I am nearly 4 months into my IVA. Found it a bit of a struggle really especially towards the end of each month! What happens if you get a pay rise in your current / new job? What's the protocol? Do they tend to take half? If they take more then what is the point of trying to improve your car...

Hi I have an IVA and you have to give a percentage of a windfall or inheritance etc etc. Whats to stop you opening a savings account, putting the money in that so you dont have to give it to your creditors? I believe the IP's only ask for your current account statements.

My IVA was approved a few weeks ago and I got a letter from Egg saying that they are aware my IVA was approved and attached was a lovely default notice under the Consumer Credit Act 1974. It basically said I had to pay £14k by 27th July! Work that out! If they are not allowed to do it why do they wa...

I would appeal but I am wary they might downgrade my current account which is a visa debit with a chequebook (no overdraft facility).

I went with Payplan who were fantastic and mine was approved a few weeks ago. If I had known about this forum then I would have gone with Melanie Giles as she has an excellent reputation and you get a more personal one to one service.
