Ok, is it possible to get addicted to credit report sites?
I have just about got mine sorted but get soooo much pleasure at looking at them that I can't bring myself to cancel the subscriptions [:D][:D]

Hi all In the process of the clean up and improve following my completion in August [:D] I have an Aqua card that has a relatively small limit of £300.00 on it. I have got this with the intention of getting my fuel on it and have set a direct debit up to clear the balance each month. My problem is t...

Hi all thanks for the replies. I have my review request. Been looking at it each day for hours on end.
Dont know whether to just send it all off and deal with it when they contact me back or try to pre-empt it before I send it off.
Haven't felt this low for years.

Trouble is I am not sure of the amount. Thats why I was just going to leave it until review and see how bad the damage is.
Is a breach of conditions one strike and out? Might as well start packing now if thats the case

Hi all Just approaching my third review and think I am going to have a major problem. Been up to date with everything up till now but due to some circumstances this year I have come off the rails a bit. I have earnt a fair bit of overtime this year but have not paid all of the 50% across. Its quite ...

Hi all, have not posted for a while but do tend to pop in and out. Had to renew car insurance Friday, so did the meerkat thing and found Santander to do the best deal, if there is such a thing at the moment! All taken out, no probs, get policy etc through the door Saturday morning... great. Just had...

I to would be interested in the outcome of this one..... Just make sure that the proposal is not based on a projected dividend from equity realisation in the final year which clearly isn’t achievable from what you have said. Last thing you want is 4 years worth of payments only to find they cant re...

My view on this is that it is the complete opposite of being tied down. Pre-IVA, every spare penny I earned, most of it through excessive overtime was disappearing on servicing debt. Christmas, birthdays ended up on the plastic so were never really paid for using my money. Shortly after my IVA was a...

Hi all, Not posted for a while but do pop in for a browse every now and then[:D] I cannot believe how quick my first review has come around! All info submitted, all signed off with no change for the next year![:D][:D][:D][8D] Must say, an IVA was a life saver. Just before going the IVA route I was w...

I was off work for a week and had american express call 20 times!!!! Told the employer that it was their fraud department checking an irregular spending pattern! :-O
Disgraceful behaviour though. Once approved though it does stop. Think the postman must think that I've emigrated!

The phone calls are a pain.... but they do stop eventually. American Express were one of my worst, and the only ones who contacted me at work constantly! MBNA were not far behind, 10 calls in one day on the answer machine! Nobody calls me now, and I hardly ever get any mail!!!!! [:D][:D] That's the ...

Good luck with your decision. Even though I have only just started my IVA, I am already reaping the benefits. I certainly do not feel like I am living under the eye of my IP with them dictating what I can and cant have. I dont have the freedom that I could slap what I wanted on the magic plastic and...

Hi there
Think it depends on your IP. I pay be cheque weekly, as I am weekly paid. I also had the option of either amending the monthly standing order accordingly, bank transfer or over the counter.

I dont have a problem at all about handing over the 50%. Pre-IVA I was working between 55 and 60 hrs a week just to maintain the minimum payments and stay afloat. I did not see any benefit from working those sort of hours at all. Now, I keep the first 10%, and then half of the other is mine and not ...
