Hi we have taken the first step and after contacting a few companies have decided to go down the iva route. We have applied for a new bank account and sent our details so a statement of affairs can be done. Now what happens? We feel so happy we've finally taken the first step!![:D]

Hi thank you all for your help and advice, I am in the process of looking through the IVA companies to decide who to contact. also I have just read that I will have to include my student loans in the IVA even though they are on hold at the moment and I pay nothing toward them. Hi me and my husband owe approx 38K to 4 creditors and making the minimum payments is very tight. We live in rented accomodation and have roughly 300 spare to pay debts would we qualify for an IVA we both work Thank you

Hello We have several debts, some of which is a shortfall from a house sale (we now rent). Debts are aprox 38k plus I have 8K of student debts that have always been on hold. Hi Thanks for your quick replies. Yes all the debt are with HSBC. I have contacted them for help with no reply as yet. I shall have a look at that site and a good read round. Our debt troubles all stem from the renal failure, worry and depression it caused over the last six years!
