"Why would anyone be looking at your private email address at work? My work and personal ones are entirely seperate." Good for you. But due to reasons (personal and technical) this is the case with me and can with be others also. I do not like this patronising and defensive attitude towards somethin...

This was only from the e-mail address. We do not really know what else was behind it?

It still does not make it any easier for me to explain to my embloyer (who checks all my messages)!!

My e-mail address is not listed on the Insolvency Register! I also found this unsolicited e-mail higly unprofessional. No mention or explanation who and what. The e-mail address of the sender does not match the forum. I am also aware that if a forum would like to do surveys they can be done in a vol...

Dear Simbel,

I do not think you understand the point of this. The forum could as well have sold your name to your local newspaper!

P.S. I also found the invition to the survey highly unprofessional. No mention who she is, who she works for etc. (obviously this could be seen from the e-mail only:-)

"Your details have not been passed on anywhere." Kallis, I must strongly disagree with you. They have clearly been passed on to http://www.insolvencypr.com/clients.asp I also thought that when I registered that my details would not be passed onto the third party. I feel highly let down by this forum...

Cybus, I completely agree with your comments. I received the e-mail this morning at work. I was shocked that anyone even knows about my IVA, my membership to this forum, leave alone my personal e-mail!! I was hoping that it would be a scam until now realising that, truly my personal details have bee...

When I opened a new account they automatically gave me a modest overdraft limit. Do I really need to get it removed even I am not using it? I am worried that the bank will start asking question if I want it to be removed.

I am full time embloyed and my IVA payments are based on my monthly salary.

I would have an opportunity and time to earn some extra by working as a self-embloyed also. Would I need to pay across all of the extra income (after expenses, taxes etc) or would the 50% rule apply?

"If at annual reviews we dont agree with the IP, do we have a right to contest or refuse any additional contributions if it is felt we genuinly cannot afford it / or do we just have to put up with whatever the IP thinks &/or says ?" That is a very good question PM5. Especially those who are in thei...

I have been reading about annual reviews for employed individuals and what documentations are required from them.

Does anyone know how this works for self employed people who do not have P60s etc?
