Hi all, I haven't posted for quite a while, but thanks to Melanie and her staff I have finally slipped the bonds of the IVA. Sadly my marriage broke down towards the end as a cross between the stresses and tribulations of the IVA and my wife's ill health, so she won't see the benefits of a disposabl...

Great news Bev, I've just got my IVA through as well, thanks to Melanie. These mods generally aren't bad - it's normally bits and pieces for the IP: limit of charges etc... Only 60 mths to go now!

Hello to everyone, Some of you may know that, like many others, I was given a pretty bad time by Synergie over a period of 6+ months where they took all my monthly payments and in the end the IVA was not workable and rejected. I didn't get a penny back and my creditors were talking about further act...

Thanks Melanie, just dropped you an enquiry form. After mulling over the proposal from Synergi, I only just noticed that they have actually made a mistake in the proposal on my rent payment by £40 (less, not more), with this and the countless other mistakes (7 so far - including re-writes) they have...

Good luck Kerri, with whatever you decide. It's an impossible time when you in this position and as we've all discovered trying to get an IVA is not as easy as they like to say on the TV/newspapers/Internet adverts. It has had a negative impact on my family and you do find everyone suffers to a degr...

Thanks Melanie, I'll look into another IP - are you available? The thing is, the Gestapo type questioning by Synergi was the limit. They also called again today (which completed demoralised me) by saying that KPMG have accepted the £680 p.m with a further rise of £126 at month 36 (car lease ends). I...

After the Creditors meeting was ajourned last week, I have had to shout at Stuart from Synergi to get it sorted. They keep repeatedly (4 calls this AFTERNOON) about why my wife only brings home £308 per mth. This I had said over and over again is a health issue and is very private. It seems KPMG are...

Well, as expected I eventually got a phone call late Friday from Synergi. They said that the IVA had been rejected (as if I didn't already know!!). KPMG want another £130 a month and the car payments after month 35 (end of credit agreement)but the trouble is here is that the car's on a lease and it ...

Thanks for that ivamole, I've copied your posting and printed it out and if you don't mind, I would like to quote from some of it - only the good stuff!. This is useful ammunition for tomorrow when I speak with them. This rather unfortunate boast could get them some problems as their literature stat...

OK Melanie, I will hassle Paul - getting good at that! I don't think the others or myself were actually getting at KPMG though, we are upset with Synergi who seem unstoppable at the moment. Paul did say that I had to go through Synergi as they are charging me and he is right - but I don't believe or...

Nice move Coco, it has to be done. I thought that after this legislation was brought in some 21 years ago that they would have sorted out the whole position and ousted unsuitable IP's. I know the IPA regulate it, but I wonder how long it takes before they take action against one of its members? Inte...

OK, phoned Paul - "...why aren't Synergi ringing me?.." he stated. He wouldn't discuss the case fully over the phone but was slightly concerned that Synergi had said that the IVA wouldn't work at all, he thought it wasn't 'dead in the water' but could trim the expenses down. He wouldn't admit either...

Ok, a brief description. I work nearly 35 miles from home, I use the car as the job is 24/7 shift work based and it works out that I use it as I cover 14 to 16, 12 hour shifts a month (depending on the amount of weeks in the month of course. We have an old banger, which used to be my car solely when...

Hi Melanie, The chap's name is Paul Gisbourne, I rang KPMG straight after Synergi but he isn't there until 9.30 am tomorrow. I was upset that I couldn't talk to him and try to get some sense from all this, but that's life I suppose. When I get this whole mess sorted out, I intend to make it a missio...

Hi Kerri, sorry I haven't responded properly to your post but I've been a bit absorbed lately! Yes I did let rip, Stuart didn't know what to say and agreed with some things. I have let them do just about everytning they have wanted as I felt that they must know what they're doing, but hey-ho it's ob...
