Years ago we woke up to find a Tesco trolley in our back garden that someone had very kindly thrown over our 6ft wall! We don't even live that close to the shop. Hubby had to put in the boot & take it back -We were not too impressed with that!

We had exactly the same issue with RCI. We changed our car pre IVA in August 09 & entered into our IVA in October 09. A couple of days later we had a standard default letter from them saying to pay the whole amount owing or they would take the car back. My husband called them & we had the same story...

Mine is also a visa debit but sometimes when I pay I notice on the receipt that it still says visa electron, so I think it's still an electron card in disguise!!

Just gone onto Tesco & did a one item shop just to see if it would accept my Co-op Cashminder Visa card & it did! (Went straight back in & cancelled it but at least I know I can now do the grocery shop online again - horray!) x

Hi Joe, I am with Melanie & her team & cannot speak highly enough of all of them. Always there at the end of the phone when needed & nothing is too much trouble. Tina was the first person I spoke to about mine & my husbands debt problems & I must say I was absolutely dreading it. I think it was the ...

Does anyone know if it's possible to pay cheques into a Co-op Cashminder account through the Post Office? It's a right pain having to go to my nearest Co-op bank branch? x

Hi all, just thought I'd let you know that RCI have allowed us to continue to pay for the car. They have said though that if we are late or miss one payment then they will terminate the agreement immediately, which I think is fair enough. Big relief to us both & we can now get on with paying our IVA...

Thanks Jan, I will do. We have been away with my parents for a few days & just came home today. I should have read some posts before I posted my own & then I would have known that Mels away this week! To be honest I've came home hoping & expecting to have received a letter from RCI & have had nothin...

Just wondered Melanie if you or your team have heard anything from RCI? The deadline for them to receive full payment is 02/11/09 & we are concerned that someone will turn up next week to collect the car. We have heard nothing from them at all. Just out of interest, what do we do if they call to col...

Thanks Kallis - I really wasn't expecting the car finance to be such an issue to be honest. I thought the fact that it was secured on the car and the payments have been factored into our IVA would be enough. Melanie - I mailed you all the info this morning, I hope you have received it. I'll let you ...

Thanks Melanie, I can't tell you how worried I've been about this over the weekend. It's very reassuring to know that you're on the case! I'll be at work all day today so won't be able to take any calls until after about 5.00, so I'll scan a copy & mail a copy of the letter to you before I leave if ...

We went for the Nissan because we got a lot of car for a lot less than the equivalent Peugeot.

It seems that they won't budge on this just yet & have requested a letter from our IP which will then be looked at once they have our figures in front of them. We explained that the payments are allowable under our IVA agreement but they won't comment any further until they have further evidence. Th...
