The SLC voted no to my proposal but since the SL is only about 12% of the debt and everyone else who voted voted yes it went through. I only added them just before the proposal went in, I didn't think before hand that they could be included as the loan was deferred. I would have been happy to leave ...

I'm also with Payplan, my proposals were agreed today they were very supportive all the way along. I'm hoping they'll be as good over the next five years. I asked them about salary increases and I think they said I would have to send in wage slips every three months and pay a percentage of the extra...

Now that my IVA proposals have been agreed, I wondered when I will be added to the Insolvency Register and why this info is made public. Are they not bound by the data protection act? I didnt know anything about this when I agreed to go down the IVA route. In fact I was told an IVA was better than B...

It's a cash card account so you have to get used to getting cash out for supermarket shop and petrol etc, as there's no debit card facitly to begin with but this can be reviewed at a later d...

Well just a quick up date ... my IVA proposal has been accepted by my creditors today!!! whoooo hoooo [:)] MBNA gave up their harassment about a week ago, but did send me a letter 'setting out my options' should the IVA not be accepted and stating that 'these options' would only be availble until to...

It was MBNA. They're being very agressive lately and even though the creditors meeting is set and I've been making token payments they keep ringing me up to tell me that I'm not cooperating and that they have means of getting their money back even if I do get an IVA approved, which I know they can't...

One of my creditors told me that less than 25% of IVAs are being accepted at the moment due to 'the current economic climate' and that 80% of IVAs fail within the first 12 months. The told me I'd be better off settling with them now since they probably wouldn't accept my proposal and would just forc...
