I've not had a payment break yet. But the problem with this is I can't get the boiler fixed straight away! I would have to have the break for 3 months say and could only then get the boiler fixed after this time. Its a nightmare at the minute as I have no hot water or heating so washing up and dryin...

Any advice on this situation?? Out boiler has broken [:(] . We don't have any savings to get it fixed, or get a new one. I have a IVA my partner doesn't but he can't afford a new boiler on his own So option one is get one through gas supplier at a APR rate of around 30% - would the IVA allow this? a...

Hi, But remember this with the IVA you are getting a massive second chance to get your life back, ok it takes 5 years but at the end you can have the satisfaction knowing that you have paid at least something back to your creditors - after all we borrowed and spent it and your budgeting skills will...

Thats what i thought! I'm only just into my IVA bu a few months so wasn't sure what happened on your reviews etc - thought if they only looked at a few months wage slips and bank statements it would be easy to hide!!! Deep down I knew there would be a way they checked!!! And of course I'm chuffed as...

I have just been told I'm going to get a Christmas bonus. I know that this should be declared and half sent towards the IVA
I obviously could really do with keeping all this money!!! How would they know what bonus I got? Could i declare less?
Thanks

I opened a new account with Natwest before all the IVA went through. And all my direct debits got transferred over. Partly my fault i guess but when the IVA was approved DFD said i didn't need to do anything so i forgot to cancel the DD - hence why they took it on the 1st Oct, i obviously didn't can...

Can anyone help answer this question? I have asked DFD who are helping with my IVA but they couldn't give a proper answer.
If say for example my Grandma died and left me some money in her will - would the full amunt be expected to go towards the IVA?
Thanks

I know its by best option, or only option but its just hitting me now that for 6 years I'm stuck with ...
