Notscared checkout all the free events in your area, I take my Grandson to the local museums, parks and in the summer the seaside with a jar, net and a packed lunch. Granted he's only 3 now, but the lack of funds in my pocket has never effected my quality of life in regards to finding things to do w...

If I were you I'd certainly speak to them and set the ball rolling...i'm sure they would give you great advice o...

Christabelle as Foggy points out....dont even consider putting "no" to the IVA question. Solicitors/Legals involved in applications carry out deeper checks than banks and its not just with Experian et al. Remember....your IVA record will never dissapear from Court records and these days all lenders ...

In these days of computer generated documentation I wouldn't think it impossible to obtain a copy of anything relating to pay be it from employers or the taxman and I think your IP would be doing you a favour by accepting bank statements alone.

Good luck John & Notscared. Not sure which companies you are with but with certain companies you can be assured your IVA will be approved or they wouldn't put the proposal forward. It is a daunting time waiting to hear if you have been accepted or not but you just have to have faith in your Company....

Good for you Notscared. Its a daunting process to be entering into an IVA but with the right information and a good IVA Company it can make the world of differance and in any event is a much more sensible option than continuing in and getting further into the spiral of debt.
Good luck.

Yes Gareth its very difficult indeed when you no longer have a "salary" to rely on...for whatever reason and i think in the position you were in, especally hard as illness can be indefinate. I suppose thats when we discover how good, bad or indifferant our respective IP's are, thankfully mine was ex...

Thanks everyone. Yes Kelly, hopefully Nikki will see my post. She really has been supportive, particularly over the past few months, when I don't mind admitting having been in a whirlwind of panic over losing my job. She has remained calm all along and I must admit I may of been a pain to deal with ...

Creditors have accepted my F & F offer....so now just have to wait for the PPI to be cleared and hopefully get my Closure Certificate in the not too distant future. A permanent jo...

Well the 28th Jan and my Full & Final creditors meeting approaches. Dearly hope its accepted. It certainly wont be the end of my problems as I still have to find a permanent job, but it would be a start on the right road. Seems strange that I have worried consistantly over many years about my debt a...
