We had a drink tonight at the pub we went to on our way home from court 5 long years ago. We promised ourselves that we would do it 5 years ago and it was surreal and emotional to be back. Keep at it would be my advice everyone out there. My white board has just had the final payment checked off.......

Thanks for the warning ! Just to prepare myself, is there a lot of work to do once the Completion Certificate is provided to make sure that my details are correct across the credit reference agencies ? I have prepared myself for a lot of letter writing in a few months time - or is it more automated ...

I am with GT and the house is in negative equity with little likelihood of being even at breakeven before year 5 finishes (next july) I see some people paying an extra year. Some get another extension to the mortgage. I spoke to GT and they say that if I stay as-is, there will be nothing more to pay...

IVA monthly contributions When our IVA was set up the payslips we supplied were averaged out over the 3 months to work out what we should be paying. Since they were provided (in march) the IVA was set up and my takehome pay changed (increased) due to changes to my company health/benefits scheme. I a...

The worry for me is how I can give them any of the equity if it is in another car. I need a reliable car to get to work (70 mile round trip each day) and an old banger is going to cost even more to run. I'm struggling to understand the logic in the decisions being made.

This month I have amost £5K equity in the car despite the book price being significantly less. I cant sell it for that, but a deale...
