Does that mean that they only take the pay rise into effect from the review date forwards or do they backdate from the review date to when you it first came into effect? Also what about outgoings, if they were to go down does that take effect from when/and if it happens or just from review when you ...

Hi All, we are set to lose a monthly income of approx £500 due to redundancy, our mortgage payments are set to go down by approx £450 in April due to fixed rate ending. Will we be able to keep this to make up the shortfall?

Well they have set up the standing orders straight away as only posted on Friday, so can only presume that they wouldn't have done that if they were gonna close the account. Like I say we don't owe them any money or have an overdraft and the account is always in credit so hopefully will be OK.[:(][:(]

Its Nat West. They obviously know now and we don't owe them anything, but we would rather not have it advertised everywhere! Will contact them and ask them to change it. Can but try.

Thanks, no it doesn't give you the option to amend anything. Worried if I contact the bank the will get a bit jumpy about us having an account.

Hi, have just set up the standing order for monthly payment and when on internet banking I have noticed that the reference for this is my surname followed by IVA, is this normal or even allowed as I thought it was private?

Hi, can't believe how quick we got our answer! Meeting at 10.30am and IP rang at 10.46 to let us know accepted! Got a few minor amendments plus they want £60 extra, but at least its sorted and we can now look to the future. Thinking of it as a 5 year loan and once its paid back we are free. Again th...
