the fees were £600 the interest is frozen, and thats for both of us. We just pay £100 between us. Some of the debt has been written off, and some have been negotiated for a smaller sum.

Hi Kallis, I havnt posted here since 2010, we couldnt manage the IVA, so wrote to them telling them we were going to fail. In 18months paid in over £3000 but none went to creditors. £3164.53 paid in, plus upfront fees. Bank Charges 22.75 Bond 46.00 Disbursments 80.39 Dividend 811.27 Legal fees 56.00...

I thought that budgeting was the way to go, surely pay as you go is cheaper than a contract that could be anything from £15 a month to £45 plus, i budget my pay as you go, between £10 /£20, only using it when absolutly no other way of communicating, i try and allways have a fiver on it case of emerg...

i thought that if your house was in negative equity, you then finalise the iva, and if their was equity but you couldnt release it then you have to go the extra yr please correct me if i'm wrong, or does it solely depend on the terms. i guess at least its not over the long term is it.over in 1 year....
