I know from personal experience how difficult it can be after 22 years in the forces to adjust to civilian life, and this is far more important than covering a few debts. See if you can persuade yo...

Our bank recently told my wife that as far as they are concerned we are BR and it certainly seems to have the same effect on your credit. Resolve UK advised me to go BR but as a serving soldier I'm not allowed, however I have since fou...

I agree and am dissapointed with this advice from Resolve(short sighted). At the time the Army needed soldiers to stay on to fill the short falls so it seemed a reasonable solution. Not much discussion about pensions or gratuity other than to only take the smallest sum, certainly no mention about ha...

Thank you [:)]and in response to your previous post I have no firm ideas as to what I would like to do when I leave the Army. I will be attending CTW in Portsmouth in Dec and hopefully I will have a better idea. I have recently been thinking about an operations managers post or even event planing an...

Officialy by 2011 the Army will be fully manned so overstreach officially should not occur[:o)]It boils down to budjet restraints. If you...

Hi John I'm in exactly the same position as you. I was adviced by Resolve UK who provided the advice and set up my IVA through Mc Duffy to extend my service. Unfortunetly I was informed today that It is now unlikely that I will be able to extend putting my pension and graturity up for grabs. Ironica...
