Thanks, Lili, for your kind words.
Means a lot.
Hopefully I'll hear something this week and things will start to move forward. Utterly fed up with things being in limbo and endlessly being harassed by creditors.

I think it must be one of those days... I'm just feeling sorry for for myself and wanted to whinge, I guess. I've got a streaming cold, thumping headache and feel really shivery. Zero motivation to do any of the stuff I need to do for work... or to do any jobs around the house. My creditors' meeting...

I am running some quite frankly ridiculous arguments with one of the creditor representatives at the moment about fuel expenditure, where they are taking no account of the journeys my clients make to work. Things like this will turn more people to bankruptcy or never ending debt management - where ...

It does seem ridiculous.
Surely people shouldn't be forced into resorting to 'under the mattress / in the tea caddy' etc?
Just don't do what my Gran did and 'keep it safe' in a cornflakes packet... only to forget and throw the packet out!!! [:0]

Contratulations Ivaapproved. I started the IVA process end of November and my creditors meeting is tomorrow. I hope I'm as fortunate :) Good luck for tomorrow - I'll be thinking of you. By his time next week I'll also know if mine's been approved or not. Feel sick every time I think about it. Had a...

Hi If your family buy a car for you, or gift you the money to purchase a car then there is no problem as long as they retain ownership. You can be a registered keeper and not the owner. Regards Does this not create complications with insurance? Surely you have to declare whether you own the car or ...

My mother did similar for me (just purchased the car outright with cash, so no HP) and it was registered in my name so I didn't have to explain anything to my insurers. I called my IP and they said it was fine, so long as she didn't give me the money to buy it. Sorry, I think I'm having a blond mom...

I'm about to enter into an IVA (assuming the creditors vote in favour) and am about to send the final signed proposals back before a creditors' meeting date is set. However, my car (S-reg, 1998, approx 80,000 miles) had developed a problem with it's heater/blower (making demisting it virtually impos...
