Hi Melanie
Thanks for the answer, I was hoping that was the case. So should I be able to keep the A&L bank account as I don't owe any money to the bank?

I have debts with Abbey, but we recently got new cards and letter stating that MBNA now supply the A&L card even though A&L are part of the Santander group, I do not owe any money to my A&L bank account so was hoping I might be able to keep it if the credit card debt is to MBNA.

Hi
I currently have a bank account with Alliance & Leicester and also an Alliance&Leicester credit card which is supplied by MBNA, does this mean that my debt is with MBNA and not Alliance&Leicester thus allowing me to keep the bank account if my IVA is succesful?
Cheers
JB

Hi, We were initially only going to apply for an IVA in my name but as seen as they will take my wifes salary into account we may as well include her debts to as she will be struggling if part of her salary is used to pay my IVA.
