ok so I have 6 years since my start date, the main 2 are the Woolwich and the Halifax. problem: the Halifax were my main creditor, cant see them giving me a mortgage.

my IVA is done and dusted, still waiting for Ferguson to sort with GT, see my other post. my new question is which is the best place to go for a mortgage, NatWest would be able to offer me one except they don't lend to any who has had an IVA, even if it's complete. I'm looking to buy the our council...

had a reply from the solicitor today and the conclusion they reached is: that the money is mine as they can find no evidence that the creditors agreed to a variance and my CofC has been issued. since then my mum has been diagnosed with terminal cancer so I am now waiting for the solicitor to contact...

that was my plan martinw, I have a bank account with Lloyds that I can never remember the pin for so they'll be safe there!

ok I'm starting to get stressed now. received cheques from the Halifax for the PPI claim. all payable to me, not a trustee. so what do I do now? I'm really reluctant to hand this over GT when they've issued me my CofC as I understood that to mean the IVA was done. waiting for a reply from Cartridges...

I've been back through the original paperwork and nothing is mentioned about PPI being included. I have spoken to GT and they have said that the PPI will need to paid into the IVA as there is a 'post IVA clause' for this. is it worth fighting this?
