Thanks, Grant Thornton/Aperture have said they'll send me another copy of my completion cert as it's currently packed away waiting for us to move.
I was intending to repeat what I'd done previously so thats inline with what you're suggesting. Thanks for the help.

Hi, I completed my IVA in full almost 30 months ago now via a settlement which met the full terms of my original IVA, the info from this IVA dropped off my credit file in November and since then I have been carefully building my credit score back up. My partner and myself are currently looking at mo...

Are these repayments from Grant Thornton? When I spoke to them today I asked if they were able to check the status with their PPI department which she wasn't prepared to do which was a little frustrating to say the least.

Hi, I completed my IVA with Grant Thornton in August 2014, and since then I've been dealing with EIC sorting out the PPI claims, I've been told that I'm eligible for 8% interest on the sum of PPI gained which according to the documentation sent to me from Lloyds (the source of the PPI claim) was som...

From offering my F&F to receiving my completion certificate took 12 months with Grant Thornton, they're still dealing with PPI though so it's still rumbling on in the background, I'm just not involved (waiting hopefully for the Statutory Interest repayment though)

Hi Dusty sorry for the slow response. I was really struggling with my repayments and as such I called my IP and told them I had the offer from my in laws. I had to do an income/expenditure form and they sorted everythign else from there, it really was quite a painless process. The £4000 was all my i...

Hi following the advice given previously I finally made an offer of a full and final settlement in October 2013, it went through in December and am now waiting for completion to go through, the offer of £4000 was accepted, on top of that I was awarded £1600 PPI so that topped up the fund. I'm really...

Hi Melanie, no my buy to let property is currently empty. I'm living with my girlfriend and our two children which was a cheaper option than living in my own place with additional energy and council tax bills to add in.

Thanks, I've called Grant Thornton to arrange a discussion with them and that's all booked in now. I'd rather not surrender the property but it's definitely an option I can discuss with them. I know there's still a lot to consider but I really hope I can come to an agreement without defaulting, I've...

Hi I've been in an IVA now for 3 and a half years. Things have changed this year that have really stretched my income and therefore my ability to meet my IVA payments which have led me to suspend payment temporarily. I'm with Grant Thornton and in honesty I've not had to have much contact with them ...

The difference between rent is I pay £200 a month to my parents, and I get back £450 from my tenants. My IVA repayments are £377 a month, but I am fortunate in that I'm in a job where when qualified (hopefully in March) my income will raise by £6k a year. Hopefully this increase will come before my ...

Hi, I had my IVA approved recently and since then my circumstances have changed so have a few questions. Basically when I got into financial problems I moved back into my parents and rented out my house to free up money to pay off my creditors, unfortunately I still struggled to pay them and ended u...
