Hi No he was up to date with his mortgage when the IVA started, but I don't think he is allowed to borrow money, except for an IVA settlement. His real worry is that being in arrears might impact on the IVA settlement in some way font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica">quote:<hr height="1" no...

A good friend of mine entered his IVA shortly before I did, just over 2 years ago. He is self-employed but kept up with his IVA payments, but missed some mortgage payments. His sister has recently ‘married into money’ and offered to lend him enough to get a full and final settlement (at full value i...

We are so pleased with our choice of IP. Ours can not have been the most straight forward of cases to be put forward , but we put all our faith & trust in Melanie & her very efficient team. They did their utmost to ensure everything was explained to us in detail and that we knew exactly what we were...

Hi Michael. Quite agree it does seem ridiculous as if we keep on with our Denplan we have the assurance of knowing that we are covered in the event of us needing dental work done. As you say, even with the NHS the costs are high if needing any big work done.

Hi we are having our creditors meetings tomorrow and it's taken quite a while to get to this stage. We did "choose to refuse" through BT and it works well, but creditors then get wise and start to call from different numbers so you have to keep "on the ball" and keep changing the "choose to refuse" ...

Mercers have been the worst of all our creditors for phonecalls and I assume that the person they sent was from them acting for Barclaycard.I just wish information was passed on to the people concerned instead of wasting so much time & money on unecessary harassment.

Well my worst fears have been realised. A man saying he was from Barclaycard came to our house asking to speak to me. I was not at home and my son answered the door. The man asked him if there was a contact number for me and my son told him no. Thankfully my son is 6ft 4ins and into bodybuilding but...
