.... to add to what broke said about knowing what i signed up to, yes i agree but does seem harder to swallow when in joint names and the ex leaves you with it and pays nothing towards it. Does make you want to seek ways out....

Many thanks for replies. Hadn't looked upon it as theft but realistically thats what it is I guess. The thought of going through the worry and stress like at the beginning of IVA was certainly enough in itself really to make me have doubts. Just a quick one, but having had IVA accepted today :-) i just wondered if the first payment can be made at my next pay date meaning it would be approx 35 days from date of IVA being accepted. Does anyone know if this is acceptable or would it be classed as breach? many thanks...

not been on here for what seems an age. back in jan i looked into entering an iva...well, here i am with my creditors meeting tomorrow. panicking that it will be rejected which will then only leave bankruptcy. not really looking for any answers on here tonight, just to share my (dark) thoughts!!!

Head shot!!! With reference to something that Melanie posted, i took out a consolidation loan five and a half months ago which equates to prob a quarter of my total debt. does anyone know if this will go against my app for iva. my head is shot with all this worry!!
