Ah I see Foggy. I've just logged back into my credit report and Barclaycard have got the date of the default as 26/04/2010 (it should be 21/04/2010 - but I'm not going to stress out over a couple of days). So even though a Default continues to be registered each month up until now, these will disapp...

I wonder if anyone can help. I completed my IVA in April and have received my CC. Every month I monitor my credit report and all the creditors included in my IVA nave either marked my account as satisfied or partially satisfied, with the exception of Barclaycard, who have continued to default my acc...

I think you should be upfront and let them know if you want to put your mind to rest. They are going to find out regardless. I work in finance and changed jobs a couple years ago. I was told at my second interview that I was going to have to undergo a credit check. I was completely honest and told t...

I'm quite worried as well now.
I emailed my payslip today to my usual contact at PJG, only to receive an automated response that she no longer worked for PJG.
I've only got 6 months left to run and up to now they have been wonderful. I will be gutted if it all changes at this point.

Last year I changed jobs and in my second interview it was brought up that I would be required to undergo a credit check as I work in finance. I was honest, and immediately told the interviewer that I was in an IVA. They were really understanding and I was ultimately offered the job regardless of my...

Hi Bex12, I'm so pleassed that you feel a bit more at ease now that you have started the process. If I remember correctly, I think the time frame between my very first phone call enquiring about an IVA and the phone call to say that my IVA had been accepted by my creditors was roughly 8-10 weeks. Bu...

I recently changed jobs and I was told at my second interview that it was company policy to do a credit check on new employees (I work in a finance department). I was immediately open with them about my IVA. They were actually very understanding and just wanted a little background into the circumsta...

Please, please, please go and see your doctor. I've been suffering anxiety like that for years and never confided in anyone about how much I was struggling with it. Recent issues at work mean't I had to face up to the fact I wasn't coping with my anxiety issues and I've been to see my GP. She has pr...

I'm not sure, I'm assuming not as it was purely a form to register with the agency. I do work in finance which is why I was concerned. The agency has still registered me and put me forward for a role today, so fingeres crossed for a positive outcome.
