If I change mortgage options and pay slighty less each month does the amount I save go towards my IVA?

Well after all this I dont feel striking today has had any impact on the government. I may have had a day off but when I go in tomorrow I will have to catch up on every thing I would have had to do today. All thats happened is that those in private sector jobs dislike public sector workers even more.

Apologies if my initial post has caused argument but I have changed my mind. I am going on strike. I will join the march into town with citizen Smith and the Tooting liberation front "POWER TO THE PEOPLE" (showing my age), Well they are all going to the pub for the rest of the day. Still dont think ...

Looks like I have initiated a political debate. I think its ironic that I am in debt and on an IVA and my taxes have been used by the government to bail out the banks, and what do they do? Pay millions of pounds to each other in bonuses !

As a public sector worker I am caught between a rock and a hard place. I support my colleagues across the country but cannot go on strike on Nov 30th. I cannot afford to loose a days pay. I have not told anyone at work that I am on an IVA. I will have to cross the picket line in shame. Its crazy how...

Hi claws, I to am about 1 year and 3 months in and it is hard at times. I can remember initially concidering an IVA, then applying and worrying about being accepted, then 12 months on and worrying about the review. I do feel however that this time has passed so quickly. It feels good not to get the ...

I waited for a call regarding my 12 month review at the end of Feb but no call. I did post earlier about my income staying the same and my outgoings going up. I have now recieved a letter with a 12 month statement. It also shows how much my creditors have been paid (in most cases nothing). There is ...

There must be a way of raising this issue through protest and our democratic process. They should be held accountable. This would only happen if it was deemed criminal. Which it is !

I am coping with my payments (bit stretched at times) but not ready to throw the towel in. This letter arrived with my name on it. Guess these companies are able to get personal information about people which is a little unsettling.
