I was with payplan for the 5 years of my IVA and they have been great. My partner was also in a DMP with them and they were always prompt in replying to any queries and helpful throughout and ensured that he didn't have to deal with any creditors himself.

No it won't affect credit history on the property as their credit histories are personal and not tied to the property. I have an IVA and live in rented accomodation and none of my landlords have ever had any problems. It didn't even affect my partners credit file who lived with me.
