Hi just wondered if anyone new anything about iva debtline as i have had a mailshot from them claiming that most people should not be in an iva but need to go bankrupt. I phoned them as curious and they claim that you should pay them to do the legal work and that we would be better off bankrupt. As ...

Hi my husbands wage is given at £523 per week in our iva but alot of the time it is under that amount by maybe roughly £50 and sometimes roughly £50 over that amount would the under amount conteract the over amount and not have to pay in the extra Hope that makes sense

Have been in a iva for about a year and our mortgage deal is due to run out in jan 2012 will i have problems with Abbey to get a new deal and if they refused us would anyone give us a new mortgage deal?
ps have never missed a mortgage payment xx

Hi i am due to recieve some compensation money for a accident i was involed in, it is only for personal injury no loss of earnings. i have spoken to my ip and yes i will have to hand over the money seems unfair as its not my childrens fault i am in a iva and not my childrens fault that there father has never paid a penny since 1999 and thought that by living in america he could escape it.

After 5 years of court cases it looks like i will eventually get child maintance arrears of around £17000 i would like to give it all to my 18 and 19 year who i think it actually belongs too were with a iva do i stand as i am happy to show bank accounts that it does not benifit me or my husband

we are currently paying £370 for iva, accomodation is going to cost about £400 and to lease would be about £260. We reckon that we will continue to be able to afford it because me and the children (4) have appled for extra tax credits etc so my income will increase

have been in a joint iva since oct 09 unfortunity me and my hubby have spilt and he has moved out. What will happen with our iva as we are happy to carry the joint situation with the iva and would they let us lease a second car as we both will need one
