Great News. Entered an IVA in April 2010 paying about £450 a month, with a dividend of about 49%. So there is hope out there for you all. Once my IVA had been accepted everything went so smoothly and really helped. I also gained an understanding of budgeting and appreciated everything I bought. All ...

Hello, Great news, I have been offered by a relative to make a F&F settlement of my IVA after the sale of their property. I currently make a monthly payment of £460. I have 53 payments remaining so was thinking an offer in the region of £24,380 - would this be to small (or too big). My IP says they ...

Hello, I have been in an IVA for a couple of months, everything has gone smoothely which is great. Hi All,
I am in the process of drafting my IVA with the IP amd they needed my previous addresses for the last 5 years or so.
Is this just for them to run my credit report or do they get stated on the IVA proposal (addresses, dates moved in/out etc)??
Cheers!

Sorry to come back again, but in that case can we calculate the household expenditure then halve it to get my portion (although 100% disclosed) and take this off my salary to get the IVA payment? Hi Melanie, That is a good point. No joint assets / children. We did have a joint account that was -2221 overdrawn. She was able to clear the debt on the account and I have already informed my drafter of the proposal. Perhaps it was initially included as we had this joint account. I will contact the...
