Hello, I've been in my IVA for 2 years and myself and partner have a joint mortgage together. He wants to put in a claim for PPI but I was wondering if he claims from our mortgage company, would it go straight into my IVA. He pays the mortgage himself, from his account, and I pay other household bil...

Hello, I have been in my IVA for 2 years now and my partner has offered to sell his car to pay off my IVA (he uses a bike instead now). My IVA amount was to pay £100 a month for 5 years and then release £2000 equity after the 4th year (don't think this will be possible ). I haven't been in the posit...

My Mum has said she would remortgage for me (embarrassing) but wants to know the exact amount before remortgaging. Ive paid 10 payments of my iva @100 a month and my agreement was 6k, plus a remortgage at ...

Hello. I'm a bit unsure of how to go about this. I was told this week that I'm going to get a payrise (extra hrs) and it will amount to approx £100 net, a month. I'm allowed the 10% rule so I can earn £57 a month before handing any over. My partner was made redundant and his new jobs pay and hours a...

Hi, yes it would be coming from a family member.
So if its on my file for 6 years, even though i'd have settled it, does this still mean we wont be able to remortgage for a better deal until after 6 yrs?

Ive been in an IVA for a few months, just about to do my 5th payment. I may be in a position in a couple of months to be given a lump sum of money. My debts were 18k, and my IVA is £100 a month for 5 yrs and then the remortgage in yr 4 for 2k, so the total the company want is roughly 8k. Someone has...

Its ok, I don't have any worries about receiving my wages, I know I'll get it, they said I could go and get a cheque from them today if I wanted but there is no point because it'll only take the same amount of time to clear as when my wage will actually be in my bank. My IVA isnt due out for a coupl...

Hi, Ive been in my IVA for a few months, with no problems until now. I was never in debt to my bank so just kept the current account I had with them to save all the faff of changing, (my IP said it was ok) they even knew about the overdraft facility. Ive just been online to check my account and I'm ...

My partner has paid a large deposit for me on the course so the monthly payments are quite reasonable.
I was thinking too its like insurance.
If you don't pay it gets cancelled.

I've just started college and I have to pay for my course. It's a few hundred pounds so I can't pay for it in one go, but the college lets you pay in installments. Basically like a pay as you go kind of thing. You cant get your next assignment unless you pay. Ive had a letter saying I need to sign a...

Yes it is BG.
I spotted the duplicate accounts last night on my online account so rang to query it.
They have changed the account numbers too.
Oh well its their loss because I have never not paid a household bill. The accounts are zero now so that gives me a little bit of extra spend this month
