My F&F was indeed accepted in April 2011, but I still cannot get a basic business bank account. Saw Natwest were doing a basic foundation account for people with past credit problems-guess what? yes exactly got rejected-after wasting a whole day on the phone and then at the local branch supplying al...

Can anyone clarify what happens after a F&F is accepted in regards to my credit file. I know the IVA will stay on my file for 6 years from the start (2007) but we had a F&F offer accepted last year and I want to clarify what should be on my credit file now. I also know that the original default will...

I completed my IVA last April after a F&F offer was accepted etc etc. All going well and every company has updated my credit reference files accordingly with the exception of Santander (who ironically I have never had a direct account with-was a Cahoot loan and I'm told Santander took them over) I h...

Thanks for the replies on this. I will indeed send another copy of the completion certificate to the data controller. However, I can't see how a company can be allowed to get away with not updating the information properly. Surely they have rules that they have to adhere to? Will it help to send the...

I was fortunate enough to have my IVA accepted for F&F last year (Apr11). I checked my statutory credit file last September to check that everything was ok and the companies had updated their records accordingly. Santander kept sending me letters from their collections dept (for an old Cahoot loan) ...

Although I didn't go into a branch (not one local)I spent around 45 minutes on the phone! I then carefully supplied everything except the completion certificate as I was waiting for it. The law is an ass!! Co op are asses!! I have completed my IVA and I am going to fight to get it off my credit file...

Co Op have been a bunch of banana's to me. Explained i had finished IVa and wanted a business account. Sent all details with it including emails proving I had finished IVA early etc etc. Only for them to say if I come out of the IVa and can supply proof of finishing it, then they may reconsider. So ...

Yes, but it is messy and time consuming.
I still don't get why it should be so hard to obtain a business bank account without credit.
I have finished my IVA, but still being penalised for it!

I have read and searched the forum with interest. It seems that being in an IVA (as I am) bars you from opening up a business bank account. I have just lost my job and gone self employed, but without a business bank account I am seriously hampered in trying to go forward with my life. It sucks, typi...

Hi all, Just over halfway through my IVA, paying back around 20K of 50K debt. Just lost my job halfway through IVA, got no assets and live in rented accomodation. Our outgoings were not meeting our incommings anyway and the IP has given us a 2 month break as we have no real income coming in from nex...
