Kallis,

I'd be quite happy for my certificate to state that. Not bothered in the slightest.

This is what the Judge sitting at the High a Court noted : “If the debtor and the supervisor wish to make specific provision for the supervisor’s powers to continue after the conclusion of the IVA in relation to possible PPI mis-selling claims, then the remedy is for the supervisor to insist upon a ...

Having made a full and final offer to Payplan in early March this year, I complained as it took them to the end of August to arrange a variation meeting where the offer was accepted. Payplan were in receipt if the money within days. I rang the other day to ask where my certificate was and was told i...

Offered a F&F through Payplan in March. Constant excuses by case worker, lots to do, this is a legal process, lots of work to be done...... Eventually, I made a formal complaint that they hadn't called a meeting within 28 days of my offer. Meeting finally arranged for the end of AUGUST and offer was...

Lisa, as an IP you are suggesting that when we finish our IVA and have our certificate in hand, we should keep all the corresponding paperwork. Why is that please ? Has there been comeback by creditors chasing previous debtors and with only a completion certificate to offer as evidence, they are sti...

My mortgage is with Halifax and although aware if the IVA, they offered the same fixed rate deals as advertised on their website for current customers at the time.
As above, it very much depends who you are with.

You can but ask for a new fixed rate if that suits you. Good luck.

My mortgage is with the Halifax and yes, they are aware of the IVA as the IP is duty bound to tell them.

It has never been an issue and I have changed fixed rates with them during the term of the IVA with no problems at all.

Try not to worry, just keep paying the mortgage and you'll be fine.

Bankruptcy was mentioned for the first time in 5 years when I offered a full & final. Apparently as I'd asked for a variation meeting, bankruptcy became one of the possible outcomes and despite asking Payplan to remove that clause, they said they couldn't as I was requesting a course of action not a...

Whilst I agree that the price quoted appears over the top, an MOT tester can only test what is presented. He is not allowed to start rubbing down brake pipes to confirm surface rust or otherwise and neither is he permitted to wipe wiper blades. Similarly, if you present the car with a child seat fix...

Is that photograph of the young man in glasses available to any member to attach to their profile ? I don't understand how you go about attaching photos etc so please accept my apologies if that is the case but I notice it's the same photo attached to a member of Payplan staff who posts on here.

What a great friend you have. I hope your IP is understanding. I have a friend who has the money that would help me but I can never divulge the IVA. Just too embarrassed. If only it was so easy as to ask a friend to help settle debts, they put money in your account and you in turn paid your IP.........

I agree that it's a pointless exercise and my caseworker has referred to it as " going through the motions " but my I have to get 2 mortgage refusals in writing.
