Wow thank you, we feel very lucky to have gone through the process and came out the other side in a much better frame of mind about money and just wanted to let others know on the forum that we're perhaps thinking of taking the IVA route, there is light at the end and it is much brighter for us afte...

Just wanted to let those thinking of an IVA its not a life sentence (as i thought it may be), IVA approved Late Sep 2010, difficult to start but managed and even save some allowances because we became so tight with money. Lots of time spent in the last months correcting and re building our credit sc...

Hi Andrewf, I sent claims to every creditor included and not included within our IVA myself using a standard form i got from the net for both myself and my wife, a little time consuming in the evenings but knowing it could increase our dividend and or mean claims would be less due of offset was our ...

WOW, CC in the post this morning on my birthday of all days, tough journey with some bumps but managed to secure nearly 30K of PPI refunds and lots of overpayments to give our creditors 80% than the estimated, saved our 50% retaining bonuses and managed to have a F & F agreed on Christmas eve 2014 u...

I can help answer that one Stephen, we were one of the lucky few that meant PPI was not captured as an asset or windfall so we could keep everything that was not offset, our IP encouraged us to claim ourselves as using a claims management company would charge fees, knowing there was a linked managem...

Merry Christmas to all too, an avid fan of this site and the support that has helped us through our journey thus far, we just never have the confidence to advise others. knowing we have made another crimbo that we have "paid" for is fantastic feeling without the worry of trying to find the money fro...

Echo the plan, come clean and your IP should help with a plan of action to make all well.

Very worried about this, have had our Lloyds TSB account since just before the IVA started and of course run in a perfect way, perhaps because we have never been overdrawn or created charges they have never earnt any money, not sure what route we can take now as I use our debit card for business exp...

Wow, after being so up front and honest (which is the best way of course) you seem to have been treated as though you have done wrong, I think your company has something to explain if they work this way, it just points to them feeling they get a better return if they let DSRP handle it, not sure how...

I don't think this is good advise and a good image of how the process of an IVA might work, I know it's not my experience at all, I don't have any complaint on how my IVA is going and my IP looks at us as people and not a number to get money from, I am sorry your experience has not been the same it ...
