Thanks for the replies. Not what I was wanting to hear. DFD were aware of the PPI but did not included the figures in the creditors meeting for the F&F. Also we were told by F/Plus that the payment would not be made until the outcome of the impending case for the mis-selling of the PPI, that will pr...

I made a f&f settlement for my partner in January 2011 two years early. Before the F&F was made DFD were aware that my partner may be eligible to a refund on some ppi under this refund policy if you dont pay. However Firstplus were refusing to process the claim due to ongoing legal action for missel...

Michael Thanks again. I hope too that they decide in my partners favour, of course. There was nothing stipulated in the f&f documentation we received relating to the First Plus payment so we are just keeping our fingers crossed. We have spoken to the solicitor who is dealing with the mis-selling of ...

Thanks for the prompt response. We werent aware that Firstplus were going to pay out to be honest. We had a letter saying that they wouldnt process the claim until the ongoing court case was finished. Surely if the full and final has been agreed they cant keep the additional money?

Hi My partner made a full and final settlement to DFD in January, which was accepted on 7th February and I paid for him on the 8th Feb. In the meantime he was eligible for some cashback from Firstplus on a ppi premium, DFD were aware of this as they received a copy of the application form in january...

Good news, DFD held a creditors meeting yesterday, and our offer, of £6500.00 (this was reduced as it took a while to get the house valued and we had been making the monthly payments) was accepted. Just got to go to the bank today to pay the cheque in. My partner, who is not an emotional person at a...

My partner entered into a 5 year iva in 2007, in 2008 this was extended to 6 years as he was unable to make the additional £125 month payment on top of the £360 month payment in years 2 -5 as he had lost his job and had starting working on a self employed basis. He is currently paying £360 a month a...

Hi there My boyfriend has an iva, which started in April 2007, at present we live apart but we would like to live together, the best option would be for him to come and live with me because I am mortgage free. How would this affect his iva, would he have to be reassessed taking my earnings into cons...
