You could contact each of your creditors separately and see if they will accept reduced minimum payments or enter into a Debt Management Plan through an external company who will make arrangements with your creditors and you can pay a monthly figure. What is your disposable income (monthly income mi...

Yes, I think the best thing to do once you get your completion certificate is make copies and send these to credit agencies so they can update the status of an IVA.

The rental amount the OR will give is different in each case as each case is based on the individual. However he/she should be reasonable in what rental amount they will allow, I can't imagine them forcing a family of 2 adults & 4 children into a 2 bedroom house etc. Is there any reason why you thin...

Hi 2yrsin,

An IVA is a legally binding agreement, and if I.F have agreed to your IVA then they cannot add any further amounts on what you owe. I would forward this letter to your I.P as they are the ones who supervise your IVA.

Hello h_s, I would advise that you have a look on www.iva.com to see how other individuals have rated debt release direct. Also I would advise that you speak to at least 2 or 3 companies, that way you can make sure that you are getting the correct advice. Some companies ask for up front fees as they...

Hello Saltify,

You could always ask your I.P for a 1 - 2 month payment break from your IVA, then these months will be made up at the end of the IVA. I would contact them about this and discuss your options.

Once you have been discharged from being bankrupt you are no longer obliged to let the OR know of any asset that you may have gained.

Hi Angela,

In my experience, Mint are usually very accepting of IVA's, however I did not know they went as far as sending you a letter with all the details you need - thats amazing [:D]

Hi Mikey,

Congratulations on your IVA being approved, you must feel great!! Modifications are normal in IVA approvals, you are lucky that none of the modifications include you and the amount you pay.

I would think that its just about the I.P fees and making sure certain clauses are in there etc.
