Thank you for your quick response. My other problem is that due to underpayment of tax (I do not fill out a tax return but rely on my employer...but that's another story) my pay is to be reduced in April as HMRC will be taking through my tax code. If my IVA payments have to be reduced dramatically t...

Hi all, I have a Student Loan and every year I defer payments because I do not earn enough. This year however, due to bonuses, 2 of the 3 payslips to send as evidence of not earning enough take me over the threshold. I am quite concerned that I will now have to start paying this loan with money I do...

Well I've completed and survived my first year in an IVA...where does the time go? [:)] It's been a bit bumpy once or twice but I managed. I'm now sooo careful with my money to the point of even becoming OCD [;)] I feel lucky I have been given a chance to sort the mess I alone got myself into. This ...

I can vouch for Nationwide, opened a full account just
before my IVA was accepted. I even received a letter from them the other day advising my account now qualifies for free European Annual Travel Insurance....not that I'll be needing it, for the next few years anyway !!

Thanks everyone. Believe it or not one of the standard things we are to do is suggest they speak to a couple of companies for advice .... funny that never happened to me!! I know its only day 3 but I am impressed with the training we are receiving and there is a big emphasis on 'treating the custome...

Thanks neopensioner didn't know about the 2 year thing, that would relieve a bit of pressure. I have one job and been in my current employment for 10 years. I wonder why all of a sudden my tax allowance was quite obviously incorrect. If this cannot be added to my IVA is this not deemed as giving one...
