Everyone I know has a cause or charity for which they have strong feelings so this year I have made small donations in their name. I have printed out the confirming e-mails & they will get them with a Happy New Year card ... I thought this action was more in keeping with the true ideal of this holid...

I had my IVA approved today. I have already made one payment so 1 down only 59 to go. The monthly sum is so small compared to what I was paying out before which had descended to just the minimum payments.

So living within my income ... what an idea. I embrace it.[:D]

argh ... I just received my first 'phone call from a creditor ... I told them that I was not in but would be back around noon ... what am I to tell them? I am sure my iva consultant told me to say that I was in the processing of arranging an iva ... but I am not sure if I tell them who is arranging ...

I work full time & if I enter into an ivf I would like to know if my employer need be advised ... also since part of my debt is credit card debt to the bank where my salary is paid I would like to know if an ivf action will affect my current account (asSide from the obvious dd of my overdraft)
