A secured loan isn't like a remortgage I would avoid that clause at all costs unless the iVA will fail if you don't agree, by allowing a secured loan the rates can be very high compared to a normal 1st charge mortgage i.e 3% normal 8% secured loan the difference can be much higher depending on circu...

Hi Cam.

Take a look at Debt relief orders.
Cost only £90 but only for debts below £15k as long as you only have less than £50pm disposable. So this option may or may not be suitable. Google it.

I,m not saying it's good for you or bad, but not seen it mentioned on this thread.

At this stage do not contact any creditors or GT, wait for advice around your debts, you could look on the insolvancy register to see whether you are on it or not. Just google Insolvancy register uk and do a name search. Someone will be along to answer in due course they are excellent on this website.

No you wouldn't have to declare, it's the dogs money afterall you are selling all of it's puppies. She would want it as a retirement fund to go on a holiday or something special. Ps Your dog want's cash for the puppies and the money to be kept in a safe place, she doesn't trust financial Institutions.

If you tell a cat where the mouse is the cat will be sure to find it. Now if you don't tell the cat where a mouse is the cat may never find it.

That sounds like fantastic advice, let's hope your IVA provider feels the same to present the case to your creditors, and your creditors feel sympathetic to your case.
I feel the IVA provider may be the hurdle to overcome, just pick up the phone and be honest and firm about the options.

Just totally ignore them, nothing they can do as your IVA is in place.Your partner is far far more important.

Just open the letters snigger and file them away in a place called shredder.

Hi Emma, Look the damage has been done, I assume you knew the risks of keeping cash in the home. I would suspect your IP was trying to help you and was prepared to break/bend the rules to do so. Yes this is fraud but I very much doubt the police would be interested other than to catch the culprits. ...

To be honest I find it amazing that someone should think they can keep any PPI monies who have been subject to an IVA, afterall someone in an IVA didn't keep to the terms of any loan or credit card agreement and they then asked the company to write off some of the debts and then inturn complain abou...
