Hi All, I hope you are all keeping well? I have recently started an IVA back in June 2011. I was informed by the Tax Credit off...

Hi,
I am applying for an single IVA, although I live with my partner.
She is very concerned that my IVA will blacklist her and that she will be unable to get credit etc, despite the IVA being solely in my name.
Can anybody elaborate on how my IVA will affect her please?
Kind Regards

Hi, after speaking to a solicitor, they have advised that we require a severance in tenancy which would
legally split up the proportion of equity in a legal manner. I am hoping that this does not take too long to arrange and also hoping that it doesn't cost a fortune

Hi All,
Thank you for the great advice. Regarding the Deed of Trust, how do we go about this? Do we contact a solicitor? If so, do you know how long these things take to produce as I am really eager to get my IVA application sorted.
Thank you.

When you say build up a small fund, what is this for?
I have just opened up a new bank account with Co-op and I am going to start looking to transfer my Direct Debits into this new account and get my monthly salary paid in there too.
Any pitfalls, please let me know.
Your help is really appreciated.
