after 5 long years I have just made my final payment on my iva what a relief it is, at last I can get on with my life .

am i the only one who thinks all this claiming of ppi whilst in an iva is a waste of time,i have sent emails off to eic and grant thornton with no replies from either of them,their customer service departments are a disgrace,if i could i would tell them where to shove their claims for ppi.

it has been just over a month now since i received my spotty letter from eic on behalf of grant thornton regarding changing my terms and conditions and i was wondering if anybody has had any feedback from either of the 2 companies,at time of writing i have heard nothing.

[8D]no she isnt on my iva just her income and hopefully she will get a job soon.

my wifes income is included on my iva but she has just been made redundant and is getting £10000,am i right in thinking this is her money and not the iva,s.

interest back from some of them but i am not holding my breath.

would confirm that they had recieved them but i heard nothing.

thanks melanie,would there have to be 15400 to clear the iva or is it the original debt of 80000 which has to be cleared.

grant thornton have asked a company called experts in credit to try and get back some ppi on my behalf altogether there are 41 claims going in , i have 35 payments of £440 left to make which amounts to £15400if they manage to get back say £5000 would that amount come off the amount left to pay or...

hi melanie,my wifes redundancy payment will be approx £6150-00 and her take home pay is £1061-00 per month so you are correct in saying i would not be able to fund my iva unless of course she gets fixed up with a new job fairly quickly.
