I started a post under Posters' Titles with a genuine question and was told I was not a real person I am AN IP, can be found on R3, ICAEW and Insolvency Service websites, yet was deleted for asking to be allowed to post as an IP which I am. If this post dissapears I will be raising the matter with t...

Can I have Andy's open forum response on this query ? I think it pertinent that a transparent and definitive answer is given to a clear and open question. Again with respect he does appear to be the Organ Grinder, and the only one with the ability to resolve this despite the well meaning and sincere...

With respect you talk about becomming an EXPERT and having Andy's approval, this is a different request.

Andy can you please clarify this position of how an IP is added to the site. I do beleive people on this site would benefit from the views of a second Licensed Insolvency Practitioner.

You would have to be an actual IP to gain the status in the forum as well. I am an actual IP, and was wondering if I can be recognised as such on this site, and how that is achieved. Being considered an "expert" on this site is of no interest to me, I beleive the site needs more than one posting ac...

Thanks, but can there be more than one "IP" on this site and how is that achieved ? That was my actual question.

Oh and how many are a "fair few" posts ?

The path for being titled as a posting "forum expert" is well worn and in the open of the forum.

I notice from scan of the poster ID's there appears to be one "IP" My question then is how would one become an "IP" in terms of posting upon this site ?

Many thanks.

Excellent post Andy and I totally agree.
I would look to the Money Saving Expert - he's independent and objective, and worth a read.

Dean, I have changed your user name again as you are not allowed to put an email address or post your company in your user name unless your are an expert. I find this ridicullous and also not true. Having posted previously with a company name, in the context of clarifyng an attempted falsehood thre...

Debtors should keep evidence of actual costs and present this to the OR to prove they cannot meet any unrealistic expectations on their spending.

I don't believe the starting point will be £20, who wants to collect £720 over 3 years ? Creditors will never see a penny of it, and knowing the OR of old, he'll get a collection agent to collect it for him (for a fee), so why the change in policy if there is no chance of any money being paid back t...

Hi Pete,

Sorry you had a bad experience earlier, please try to contact us again. It has been pointed out elsewhere that some IP's provide services under contract to IVA providers and this does not affect the quality of the IP.
