Thanks for the info on the savings account, I was under the impression I could not open one.
If I save alot in it will the IPs want some of it back though?

I also had lots and lots of phone calls, letters etc.. After I had given them all the details of my IP once I simply told them I was not prepared to discuss my finances over the phone. Then I hung up. After sever times of hang ups they stopped calling! Don't speak to them. Just hang up. YOU WILL FEE...

Melanie As far as I understand, you are allowed a MAXIMUM of £15000 on your card but are able to spend up to the amount you have on your card. You mention a savings account. When you go for an IVA the IP will want to know ALL your financial details. I fount it was best to tell them everything so they could work out the best way forward for me.
