It depends how much you are paying in the £?
It's nit as simple as offering an amount less than £7k

Don't be afraid of it.

Most improtant.
Write to all your creditors to put holds on the acounts because you are gettng advice on resolving your debt. Send recorded, keep copies.

I just checked the Insolvency Register and our names are removed! I've also got the certificate of completion which was a joy to read. This is such a great feeling I can't tell you. I was stuck with a saving account which has just stopped allowing direct debits. I've struggled along without a proper account cos of my IVA. I applied again today (IVA F&F settled) and been offered their top account with all the trimmings. Even a CHEQUE BOOK lol. I've forgotton what they look like....

Don't go to supermarket hungry.
Always keep a list.
Don't underestimate other expenses like Car tax, petrol, haircuts, car/house reapairs and such. I have a great list of all that stuff.

be careful. Budgeting becomes an addiction.
Well done on getting an IVA. It is very scary but very worth while. Remember, never panic if your circumstances change, just keep them well informed and there will be no problems at all. Good luck!

i got hold of one of the managers.
Apparently the Cert is being sent out today. Here's hoping!
I was told the creditors are the ones who take the details off the public register. How long will it take not to have my name up in lights anymore?
